PHARMA · DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER · AMAZON
A new business. Built through to launch.
For a pharmaceutical group, we designed a direct-to-consumer brand for the Amazon sales channel – from a robust business case to market launch and the build-up of an in-house team.
The task.
The group wanted to open up Amazon as a new sales channel and develop a direct brand suited to it. But market potential alone does not answer a buy-or-make question – demand, channel economics, brand, operations, organisation and technology had to be assessed together.
Our contribution: Concept, business planning, setting up the structures and operational support for the launch.
From decision to operation.
We analysed market niches and products, quantified scenarios and drew up the business plan. We then steered product development.
We set up accounts, integrations, logistics, content, marketing and reporting for the launch.
What came out of it.
The brand went live on Amazon. We supported the first months of operation and helped build an in-house team, which took over operations.
